Courtroom Named to Business Insider’s List of Legal AI Startups to Watch in 2026

Courtroom has been named one of 13 legal AI startups to watch in 2026, in a Business Insider list by Melia Russell, built entirely from venture capitalist nominations.

Each year, Business Insider asks investors in San Francisco and London to nominate the legal startups they are watching most closely, limited to companies valued at less than $1 billion. The list arrives as legal tech has become one of the more contested corners of venture investing. Funding to legal startups worldwide reached $2.1 billion in the first half of 2026 alone, according to Crunchbase.

Courtroom was recognized for giving litigation teams a way to test arguments, witnesses, and case narrative against simulated juries and judges to see how they might land. Helen Min of True Ventures (not an investor), who nominated Courtroom, compared the approach to a tactic long used in marketing: testing a message against a simulated audience before it goes public, except here the audience is a set of digital twins and the stakes are considerably higher.

"Being included on a list built from investor conviction tells us this new category is being taken seriously," said Elizabeth Grabowski Parikh, co-founder and CEO of Courtroom. "Litigation has never had this kind of feedback loop from Day 1 to help guide case strategy. We built Courtroom to close this gap from every phase, from case assessment through settlement or trial."

Courtroom joins twelve other honorees on this year’s list, including Atticus, Crosby, DeepJudge, GC AI, Laurel, Learned Hand, Manifest OS, Patlytics, Sandstone, Solve Intelligence, Soxton, and Wexler. The full list is available at businessinsider.com.
